BBNaija Season 9: First Nominations Lead to Five Pairs Facing Eviction

The initial nomination showdown for BBNaija Season 9 was held on Monday.

After the nominations, five pairs in the house are now at risk of being evicted on Sunday.

The pairs facing possible eviction are Beta, Chekas, DoubleKay, Wanni x Handi, and Zinwe.

During the live show, at least one pair will be sent home.

Recently, the show organizers introduced new changes to the game rules for the ongoing season.

Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed that Biggie has eliminated the Custodian Challenge and the HOH ballot, and the housemates no longer have the authority to vote for the eviction of the bottom four pairs.

Biggie has reinstated immunity for the Head of House (HOH).

However, the HOH cannot exercise the “save and replace” power.

Under the updated rules, the pairs will nominate each other for eviction, leaving the viewers with the final say on who gets evicted through voting.
