BBNaija Season 9: Mayor Frosh Shares Impact of Cultism on University Education

Mayor Frosh, a former Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ contestant, opened up about how being targeted by cultists led to his decision to drop out of the University of Lagos, Unilag.

During an interview with Hero Daniels, Frosh explained that he faced intimidation from a group of cultists for refusing to join their ranks, which ultimately resulted in his parents transferring him to a private university after leaving Unilag.

Reflecting on the incident, he recalled, “I was attending Unilag at the time when a cult-related event occurred around 2016/2017. Cultism was a significant issue in some educational institutions.”

He further elaborated, “I was physically attacked, and my possessions were forcibly taken from me as a means of coercion to join their group. I made the decision to leave Unilag and informed my parents, who then supported my education at a private institution.”
