Zion, a participant in Big Brother Naija Season 9, declared that he is prepared to stay in the show even if his upset girlfriend and partner, Chinwe, decides to exit, despite them being a duo.
Chinwe expressed her intention to depart the show on Thursday night following an incident where she accused Zion of sacrificing her interests to gain favor with other housemates.

The morning after, Chinwe mentioned to fellow housemate Michky that she had already informed the show organizers of her decision to quit.
In response to Chinwe’s ultimatum, Zion expressed his lack of concern about her departure but affirmed his stance to contest any potential decision by the show to evict him alongside her under the season’s rule that involves pairs of contestants.
During a conversation with Anita, Zion stated, “This is only the second week; I shouldn’t be putting out fires because that implies losing sight of our purpose here. There’s no reason for you not to go home.”
He continued, “If she chooses to leave, that’s her decision. We arrived here together, but it doesn’t mean we have to depart together. If she informs the organizers of her desire to leave, she should go ahead, I did not express such a desire.”
Zion emphasized, “I can remove the ‘ZinWe’ badge, and Zion will continue in the house. It’s unreasonable for her actions to jeopardize mine. We are here as a team; let’s depart as a team, let’s support each other in the long run. This situation should be a learning experience for us, not a cause for division.”
